The AI Mechanic works perfectly well without an account, and it always will. Signing in adds one thing: your diagnoses get saved, so you can come back to them later or pick up on a different device. That is genuinely all it is for at the moment.
Passwords get reused. If a site with a password database gets breached, every person who used that same password somewhere else has a problem, and small sites get breached all the time. The simplest way to never leak a password database is to never have one. So there isn't one here, and there never will be.
