Insert Key & Locate the Reset Button
Insert the key into the ignition slot. Look at the instrument cluster — at the top of the dash surround you will see a small button. This is the service reset button. Do not turn the ignition on yet.
Press and Hold the Button, Then Turn Ignition On
Press and hold the reset button. While still holding it, turn the ignition on to position two (do not start the engine). Keep holding the button. A countdown counter will appear on the instrument display.
Wait for the Countdown to Reach Zero
The display will count down. Keep holding the button the whole time until it reaches zero.
Re-initialisation Done — Release & Start
Once the counter hits zero the display will confirm “Re-initialisation done.” Release the button and start the vehicle. The service light should now be gone.
